About J Sowden Digital Finance Function

James Sowden is a Chartered Management Accountant who has spent over 15 years in the finance industry.

He set up J Sowden Digital Finance Function in 2016 to offer Management Accountancy services to businesses in Plymouth and the surrounding areas.

In just over 3 years the business has grown dramatically, and now has clients from across the country, providing Strategic Business reports to business owners to enable growth.

The key to producing meaningful analysis and forecasts is to understand the business, and James has spent time with business owners, to really get to know what makes the business tick, to provide meaningful reports for their stakeholders.

James is always seeking to improve reporting and forecasting for business owners, and keeps up with the latest technology, being able to link accounts programs with reporting programs and help with digitalization and automation of processes.
